Price Information

As a valued patient, we understand you may have questions about the price of various tests or procedures at King’s Daughters’ Hospital and Health Services.  We believe it’s important for you to know about your potential costs (including out-of-pocket fees) ahead of time so you can make informed decisions about your health care.

Price transparency is an important step forward for all of us.  It empowers you, the consumer, to learn more about your care, ask better questions of your care providers, and make more informed choices.  It provides us, a health care provider, the opportunity to share cost information with you in advance so you can receive answers to your questions or concerns. 

Since every patient encounter is unique and insurance coverages vary greatly, it’s impossible for us to give you an exact price quote for your test or procedure.  Instead, our goal is to provide you a price estimate based on your insurance coverage, the specific test or procedure involved, and an average of past charges.

While price is certainly an important part of your decision, the quality of care you receive is most important.  Combined, price and quality create value.  Offering our patients a true value – both exceptional quality and a fair price – remains at the very heart of our mission.
